Green Light
Yes, that’s right… We’re really leaving for our RTW trip. In just six short days (March 8th). So excited!
Many of you have sent kind words inquiring about Josh’s Dad. We’re happy to say that he is holding strong. He’s not well, but he’s doing far better than originally expected. We never thought we’d be leaving on our adventure under these circumstances, but are so grateful that we’ve been able to spend the last three months with him. We know that he’s being well taken care of with family and friends living close by as well as nurse aides looking after him.
Josh’s Dad was stationed in Japan at the end of World War II. It’s someplace Josh has always wanted to go. We thought it would be a fitting to add it to the trip and make it our first stop before Singapore.
I’ve loved being here in the Bay Area spending time with Josh’s dad. I am also thrilled to start the delayed adventure and share it with you here. More to come…
If you’re going to Malaysia, it’s worth it to make a stop in Penang. It’s got amazing food, great beaches and a UNESCO world heritage site!
Where in Japan are you headed toward? Marian’s parents grew up there, and her grandfather is back now.
Thanks Melissa. We’ll add it the list. Chris, we’re planning to be in Tokyo and Japan — any advice would be much appreciated.
Hey, so what’s up?
Taking off on Tuesday for the trip.
IT’s TIME!
How EXCITING!!!!!!!
Shall be sending you positive vibes all the way!
Glad you’re leading the way. We’re a few months behind you. Hoping it’s a fabulous adventure for you both
Thanks all. We can’t wait.
@Jill – So excited you’re taking this time too! What’s you itinerary? Are you keeping a blog? Would love to see if our paths will cross. Our rough schedule is: http://www.brucepeckadventures.com/itinerary/
